Taylor’s filmmaking journey began with inspiration from his Filipino uncles—one a photographer, the other a filmmaker. Self-taught, he earned a Sports Emmy in 2013 while working with Diesel Films on the NFL's “NFL UP!” series. At the University of Washington, he developed a strong voice in short documentaries and branded content. His viral film Through the Ground Glass earned a Vimeo Staff Pick and screened at SIFF in 2014. As a freelance director and cinematographer, he’s collaborated with brands like Amazon, Nike, and Starbucks. His award-winning short Medieval Martha Stewart screened at SIFF and PDXFF in 2018. In 2023, The Racing Line was nominated for Best Short Documentary at the International Motor Film Awards. His debut feature Two Medicine won the Big Sky Award at the 2025 Big Sky Film Festival.
