Taylor Hawkins started making films at age 12. In 2012 he moved to Los Angeles and started working for Diesel Films. Their work on the National Football League’s “NFL UP!” series was awarded a 2013 Sports Emmy for “Outstanding New Approaches.” In 2014, his short documentary films “Bespoke - Blackberry Pie” and “Through the Ground Glass” both received “Vimeo Staff Pick” awards. “Through the Ground Glass” went on to be a 2014 SIFF selection. His most recent short documentary “Medieval Martha Stewart“ (2018) was award a “Vimeo Staff Pick” in addition to being officially selected for SIFF, TFF, and PDXFF. It won Tacoma Film Festival’s “Best Regional” and “Local Audience Choice” awards. Taylor has created films for organizations and brands including Microsoft, University of Washington, Nike, NFL, and Salesforce. He’s currently based out of Tacoma, WA, working as a freelance Director and DP.
